Salt Lake County Jail Visitation Schedule.

The SL County jail - located at 3415 South 900 West in Salt Lake City, Utah - has various visitation schedules depending upon where your loved one is currently housed. There are a number of different rules that you must adhere to when attempting to schedule a visit as well as when you arrive for your visit. The following list of nine items constitute the bulk of the visitation rules:

You must arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start of your visit. If visiting at Oxbow, you must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your visit. Visitors are responsible to remember the date and time they are pre-scheduled.
Prisoner workers (kitchen, server, etc.) will not be allowed visits during their scheduled work hours. The prisoner is responsible for notifying visitors of housing location changes and/or work assignments.
Prisoners are permitted two (2) visits per week and three visitors will be allowed to visit a prisoner. (At Oxbow, due to space limitations, only two visitors are permitted per visit). Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. An adult must accompany a child wanting to visit their parent or legal guardian.
Every visitor 16 years of age or older must have a government issued ID (Drivers License or State ID), Driving privilege cards and school ID’s are not acceptable forms of identification.
No visiting is permitted during meal times beginning at 11:00 AM through 12:30 PM and from 4:00 PM through 5:30 PM.
Visits may be pre-scheduled up to seven days in advance by calling 743-5000 or you may pre-schedule a visit in person at the Visiting counter.
Visiting reservations must be made no later than 11:00 PM the day prior to the day of the visiting reservation. No same day telephone reservations will be scheduled.
Cancellations and/or changes to existing visiting reservations must be made no later than one hour prior to the scheduled visit.
Requests to visit outside of normal visiting hours and/or days will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
There will be times when a prisoner is unavailable or refuses a visit. Visits also on occasion may be delayed or cancelled due to operational incidents in the jail.

Larry and his team are awesome! I called around noon and by 430 we helped and on our way! They didn't make me feel stupid about the situation I found myself in. They made sure I understood the situation and that I would be able to keep the promises I was about to make. Super down to earth and absolutely pleasant to work with. To the Bad Boys Bail Bondsman of Salt Lake City!!87 days ago we spent as a family effortless hours trying to locate our brother!! BECAUSE he is clinical it made the ordeal looking for him that much harder. Sorry, not my real last name but my review is. I talked with the owner Mike and I cannot say enough good words about him so "awesome" will have to do. And the Bail Agent Mike was also. Both gentlemen were very quick, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. They both made my dealing with this situation so much easier. I highly recommend Bad Boys Bail Bonds. This is the first time my family and I have ever had to use such a service, and we’re glad that our first time experience was a pleasant one! This company has been nothing but kind and professional with me. I spent over an hour talking with the owner after getting me out of jail ASAP. I can tell you it is more than the bail money they want but a very very very strong desire to help people that drives this company. I strongly recommend them if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing a bond. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would gladly give 100’s. You can not go wrong with them!!!! I don’t rate companies online but after the service provided to me they whole hearted deserved my comments. AAA+ company!!!!

I can’t thank Larry and Kendall enough for all they did. Very fast and professional. Larry talked me into waiting two days for my son to go to court and the bail was reduced significantly, saving me a lot of money. He could have taken my money initially as I was ready to pay, but after talking me through the process he helped me to see it wasn’t just about money to him, it was about helping others. Kendall came to my house, I don’t drive at night, he was fast professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Bad Boys if you want to be treated fairly and know the process.
